Lauren E. Caesar, Esq. is an empathetic, yet aggressive, seasoned attorney with years of legal experience and outstanding credentials. Ms. Caesar is a longstanding member of the New York and New Jersey Bars and is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
Lauren E. Caesar, Esq. graduated from Boston University, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. During her senior year, Ms. Caesar interned for Representative John Conyers, Jr. and the Subcommittee on Criminal Justice, Committee on the Judiciary, United States House of Representatives, Washington D.C. She graduated from Brooklyn Law School with a Juris Doctor and, while studying at Brooklyn Law School, Ms. Caesar interned for Justice Sebastian Leone, New York State Supreme Court, Kings County and for the United States Attorney, Eastern District of New York, Civil Division.
Ms. Caesar practiced commercial litigation in New York City, primarily in the New York State Supreme Court, New York County. In New Jersey, Ms. Caesar was an Associate at a firm in Monmouth County where she handled cases in various areas of the law. Prior to opening her own firm in 2011, Ms. Caesar was a Staff Attorney in the Family Unit at Ocean-Monmouth Legal Services, Inc., a non-profit organization, where she represented diverse clients in all family law matters, including domestic violence Final Restraining Order hearings, divorce, separation, custody, child support, alimony, modification, enforcement, emancipation and relocation matters. Ms. Caesar also conducted instructional divorce and motion clinics, provided community outreach and participated in the Ocean County Domestic Violence Task Force.
Ms. Caesar has been active in the New Jersey State Bar Association for many years. She is currently a Women in the Profession Section Trustee, was co-chair of the Lawyers in Transition Special Committee in 2016-2018 and has often been a moderator and speaker at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education's programs at the New Jersey State Bar Association Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Recently, Ms. Caesar has been volunteering for the New Jersey Lawyers Assistance Program.
